Rick recently topped the list of the best new TV characters from this decade, so it stands to reason that he’d finish top of the pile here too. The second and third placed shows here (BoJack Horseman and Bob’s Burgers) were also represented in that list by their titular characters.
Rick & Morty have become a phenomenon this decade. A lot of the cartoons here are good for a chuckle, but in a few years will be firmly in the nostalgia box. Rick & Morty has a chance, like The Simpsons, Family Guy and South Park before it, to stand the test of time.
