8. Jerry's Painting

Jerry is without a doubt one of the most intriguing characters on the show. He's just such a walking enigma. Sometimes he is an incredibly talented painter, and sometimes he gets his belt tied to a chair. He's mercilessly ridiculed at the office, but has a bizarrely blissful home life with his gorgeous wife and three loving daughters. Who is Jerry, anyway? In this episode, he creates a mythology themed painting for a local art show, and has seemingly drawn inspiration from his coworkers, as the centaur lady looks a lot like Leslie and the fat little cherub is clearly (and hilariously) modeled after Tom. But like any great art, it was met with controversy, after some Pawnee residents were uncomfortable with the painting's nudity. This episode also features a really interesting subplot with Andy and April, who are dragged kicking and screaming into adulthood by Ben. Where they learn the valuable lesson that as an adult, sometimes you need plates and cutlery and boring stuff like that, and sometimes you really need that marshmallow shooter.
