10 Best Peaky Blinders Episodes

1. The Company (Season 4 - Episode 6)

Peaky Blinders
BBC

The finale of season 4 had it all, a major death fake-out, a real major death that later proved to be a fake-out, the mere mention of Al Capone, and a boxing match. What more could anybody want from a series?

In truth, the episode was exemplary because of how it brought a very hard and wrangled season to a close. The Shelby family had started out the run scattered across the land, none of whom trusted the other, but when the Mafia came a-calling it required them to pull themselves back together for the greater good.

As Alfie Solomons prepared to screw over Tommy once again, Arthur 'dead', and Tommy preparing to use all of his knowledge and cunning to his advantage, Luca Changretta dawned upon the Shelby family. The look on Changretta's face as Tommy revealed that it was he who was in the worse position and when Arthur walked in very much alive, after his 'assassination', was staggering to witness.

As Arthur shot Changretta dead, all eyes turned to the man who allowed Changretta's men into the event, Alfie Solomons. Who Tommy then tracks down and 'kills'. After a brief sabbatical, Tommy returns to the business and becomes an MP, gaining even more power in the process.

Watching the culmination of that banding together was utterly phenomenal television and the fact that Peaky Blinders gets ignored by some major award ceremonies every year is frankly criminal.
