10 Best Performances In Better Call Saul
6. Tony Dalton - Lalo Salamanca
All told, Lalo Salamanca is in hardly any episodes of Better Call Saul, and under any other actor he could have quite easily become just another dangerous villain in the latter seasons of the show.
Thanks to Tony Dalton, though, Lalo quickly emerged as one of the spin-off's most exciting and scene-stealing new faces, an uncompromising, unflinching drug lord with a penchant for good whiskey, fine dining, murder, revenge, and family loyalty at all costs.
Effortlessly charming but hiding under his charisma a sinister air of menace, Dalton brings Lalo's gloriously entertaining sociopathic tendencies and toughness to life with a degree of calmness and intensity rarely seen on the show.
He wasn't around for long in the grand scheme of things, but Dalton's impact on the show was massive. Playing a character who made even Gus Fring's skin crawl was a tough gig, but one he was more than willing to meet without flaw.
