10 Best Performances In Scrubs
7. Sarah Chalke
Though Elliot Reid is quite a divisive character in the Scrubs fandom, there can be no denying that Sarah Chalke was able to bring a great amount of empathy and complexity to the role. Elliot was worried, intense, hopeful, imperfect, even annoying, and beside balancing all her strengths and weaknesses, Chalke also found a way to make Elliot endearing.
Elliot went through a lot on the show, falling in and out of love several times and struggling to find her place at Sacred Heart, and due to this uncertainty and indecisiveness Chalke was able to look under Elliot's worse habits and find a relatable and ultimately human character.
Chalke had a tough job, and there were certainly moments where Elliot was far from likable or out of the loop with the core plot of the show, but Chalke's commitment to crafting a complicated but realistic character deserves to be commended.
