6. Season 1 - Episode 8
The finale of season 1 was much better than in season 2, where it all goes a bit *rolls eyes, really that happened? Fine.
When Maeve takes the blame for her brother selling drugs at the dance and almost gets expelled, were it not for the deferral of the tribunal, she is left in limbo as to what is going to become of her.
As well as that she finally breaks-up with Jackson and goes to tell Otis how she feels but finds him making out with Ola, which just pulls her down emotionally.
Elsewhere, Adam and Eric start fighting but end up having sex with one another, thus beginning Adam's season 2 journey, and Jean tries and fails to break-up with Jakob.
All in all, it left several plot threads for season 2 to deal with nicely, but committed the sin of making Maeve and Otis a multi-season will they, won't they couple. Though it is hard to hold it against the episode since everything was done so well around it.
In the end, It did what all great shows want to do, which is keeping the audience interested.
