Worth it just for the dinner sequence alone, Otis might be more connected to his Mother's sole attention than he realised after he chastises Jakob, whilst also being in full view of Ola.

Though getting to meet Maeve's Mother is the real meeting of the episode, we see why Maeve doesn't like her and won't allow her an inch to disrupt her life.

Otis giving Maeve a diary with her birthday pages ripped out almost allows Maeve to tell him how she feels and all to the tune of Pale Blue Eyes by The Velvet Underground, The almost moment is a brilliant end to the episode and Maeve's feelings for Otis are on full display before she fails and playfully insults him.

However, the crux of this episode goes to Aimee, who is the victim of sexual assault when a person on the bus, as she put it, 'wanked on my leg'. It seems like the smallest thing to Aimee but she begins to really suffer from the after-effects of it, which is heartbreaking to see.

The vulnerability of young women is put on full display here, as a normal bus journey turns into something malicious and wrong when all she is trying to do is get to school.
