1. Getting Rid Of Britta

She’s just a no good B...

Vaughn and his no worries (or occasionally, some worries) was a great supporting character in the early seasons, one phased out as the more eccentric characters like Leonard, Pop Pop and Starburns (Alex, if you prefer) took centre stage. Without a doubt though, his crowning moment was his duet with Pierce, when he sang ‘Getting Rid Of Britta’.

He writes what he feels, and what he feels is that Britta sucks.

The tune is pretty catchy, and the lyrics are the perfect blend of Vaughnisms and hilarity. From calling her a ‘no good B’ and ‘G D B’, the song also has Vaughn saying he would ‘[not] ever hit her, but [he’d] sell her to the highest bidder’ and that she’s a ‘b*tch and a liar’. Although, to be fair, Vaughn does point out that she’s ‘Not a C’, but she’s undeniably a ‘no good B’.

This is before Britta was the worst and gives us one of our first glimpses of of Community’s musical talents. As well as their best and most memorable song then, it might also be their most important.
