10 Best Songs From Community

8. 101 Rap

The credits scenes in Community were always a delight, especially when they featured Abed & Troy. One of the first instances of a great Troy & Abed scene was a musical one, and came just as their friendship was growing.

The song had Abed and a pre Childish Gambino rapping, initially forming basic phrases in Spanish before just random words that rhyme... and of course Cameron Diaz. Lines like ‘the library is a big moustache dog, lard’ and ‘huge little head is ice cream, beer is good’ all slot into the beat of the 101 Rap.

Despite Donald Glover going on to become one of the biggest musicians around, it’s probably Danny Pudi who puts in a more memorable performance, committing to the ridiculousness of the song more.

That said, like most moments this pair share in their Greendale studies, it’s the chemistry which really sells it. Easily the best duo on the show and rightly two of the most popular characters.

For what it’s worth, ‘Troy & Abed In The Morning’ was a little too short to really qualify as a song here, as iconic as it is.
