10 Best Songs Used By The Walking Dead

10. "Space Junk" - Wang Chung

On the surface, Wang Chung's "Space Junk" almost seems at odds with the tone of the series. While the band is best known for 80's hits like "Everybody Have Fun Tonight" and "Dance Hall Days," their 1997 single surprisingly works in spades when paired with the closing moments of the show's stellar first episode, wherein Rick Grimes is left seemingly trapped inside a tank as walkers swarm over it on the outside.

It's an interesting musical choice to accompany one of the series' most recognizable early sequences, but it's a solid one that set the stage for the use of licensed songs on the show.
