10 Best South Park Celebrity Cameos
2. Sia
It's #2! Ya, ya, ya! (There's a pun in there. You'll see.)
In season 18, it was revealed that Lorde (a 17-year-old female popstar from New Zealand) was actually Randy March (a 45-year-old male geologist from Colorado). Marsh walks around in a curly wig and dark lipstick, but that's as far as he goes in trying to approximate Lorde's appearance. The man keeps a full mustache, which is very crudely and obviously blurred out in some pictures.
He writes songs while he's on the toilet, and he goes into an editing software and turns them into bona fide hits for the record label. When his coworkers at his geology job (which he holds simultaneously as Lorde and Randy, because South Park) try to force him into a trans-only bathroom, he goes home and writes a powerful anthem about exclusion, discrimination, pride, and identity. Interspersed throughout is the song's title: "Push". You know. Because poop. There's the #2 pun.
The voice behind the anthem? That voice belongs to real pop star, Sia. Mimicking Lorde's style, she puts her heart and soul into an utterly ridiculous song that is easily one of South Park's best (and that's saying a lot).
