10 Best Star Wars Rebels Episodes
7. Legends Of The Lasat
Thanks to a tip from the never reliable Hondo, the Ghost Crew rescue a pair of Lasat, which is especially shocking to Zeb, who believed himself to be the last of his kind. The two Lasat tell Zeb of Lira San, the foreseen new homeworld for the Lasat, which can only be reached when the prophesied Child saves the Warrior and the Fool.
While initially Zeb believes himself the Warrior, he soon accepts that he is actually the Child, while Kallus and Hondo are the Warrior and the Fool. The episode ends when Zeb leads the Ghost through a deadly imploded star cluster, indirectly saving Kallus and Hondo, who believe it to be suicide so they don't follow.
Legends of the Lasat is a smaller episode, especially compared to some other entries on this list, but it boasts a powerful message. Chava, the Lasat prophet, tells us that all of us are part Child, who sees things not as they are, but as they can be, part Fool, who denies their destiny, and part Warrior, who makes their destiny. This is also the first time when Zeb embraces a role other than the Warrior, and the first time we see him win by showing mercy.
This episode also foreshadows the eventual friendship between Zeb and Kallus, which will reappear in future entries on this list.
