10 Best Stargate SG-1 Guest Performances

8. Joe Spencer (Dan Castellaneta)

Yes, the voice of Homer Simpson was in one episode of Stargate SG-1. Late in it's eighth season, an episode called Citizen Joe recalls the events of the last seven years for Joe Spencer, a barber in Indiana who once found an Ancient Communication Stone and linked to the mind of Jack O'Neill, seeing the dramatic events from his life. While Joe doesn't know what's going on exactly, he starts to write these stories down, then attempts to sell them to magazines, but they are all rejected.

As his obsession with writing the stories grows, his life starts to crumble around him, his wife moves away with their son, his business runs down and he becomes paranoid that nobody will listen to him. Eventually, he tracks down Jack O'Neill, breaks into his house and demands to know the truth. Turns out that for the last few years, Jack has also been experiencing Joe's memories, but never mentioned it because he found them relaxing.

All in all, pretty good for a clip-show and Dan Castellaneta is hilarious, as always.

Still bitter that Star Trek Enterprise got canned and almost old enough to angrily tell the kids to 'Get Off My Lawn!'
