10 Best Stargate SG-1 Guest Performances

9. Moloc (Royston Innes)

Marina Sirtis Stargate
MGM

Moloc appeared in only a single episode, but was mentioned in a few of them as a tyrannical minor System Lord who forbade the birth of female Jaffa. Despite that this particular pogrom would leave him with absolutely no Jaffa in a few years, he never seemed to realise that. In the season 8 episode Sacrifices, he and his loyal Jaffa root out the resistance movement against him, led by the heroic and determined Ishta.

As Teal'c, Ishta and fellow Jaffa Aron try to desperately survive against the forces of Moloc, Teal'c is able to call for aid and Stargate Command launch a full-scale attack against Moloc. They take him by surprise and assassinate him with a laser-guided missile while Teal'c rescues Ishta from captivity.

Royston Innes doesn't have many credits to his name, but he sold this role brilliantly, his presence as an evil woman-hating Goa'uld is undeniable. He also holds the honour of being one of three actors who appeared on both SG-1 and Farscape. In one episode of Farscape, he played a Peacekeeper Doctor responsible for taking the chain-link rings out of Ka D'Argo's shoulders. The other two were of course Claudia Black and Ben Browder.

Still bitter that Star Trek Enterprise got canned and almost old enough to angrily tell the kids to 'Get Off My Lawn!'
