How far would you go to ensure your kid got into the right college? For some families, the answer is: REALLY far. In fact, those with money might not think twice about bribing administrators to get what they want. That, and the case of ex-high school basketball coach, Rick Singer, frames this one.
Its full title, for the record, is 'Operation Varsity Blues: The College Admissions Scandal'.
Singer reportedly made millions from down low payments that made sure children (who hadn't qualified) got into the right schools. Some celebrities were wrapped up in all of this too, which only adds to the drama sprinkled through the 103 minute special.
This doc was so controversial that one party (John B. Wilson) sued Netflix for misrepresentation. That side narrative shouldn't stop you from checking out what's on offer here though, or from scratching your head over how Singer hasn't been locked up to this day.
