Quick confession: This writer originally thought that 'This Is A Robbery' would be boring. After all, the subtitle is, "The World's Biggest Art Heist', and that's a bit of a niche topic. The kicker is that those responsible for the heist didn't just steal one or two valuable paintings - they stole 13.

Two men dressed up as police on the morning of 18 March 1990 and successfully swindled a staggering $500 million worth of artwork from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston. The actual police (not just lads dressed up like them) offered $10m to anyone who could bring the paintings back where they belonged.

The mystery is still ongoing.

Arguably the best thing about the doc is that it maps out how the duo pulled off their daring heist in the first place. You might just find yourself sucked into this four-parter - before you know it, you'll be hunting for those paintings yourself. OK, maybe not.
