The upcoming movie based on Ted Bundy's life (starring Zac Efron) will either be a smartly-scripted classic or an insensitive train wreck. Bundy's murder-fuelled romp through Idaho, Utah, Colorado and Florida is the stuff of nightmares. His 30+ murders (all of young women) are one thing, but it's the trial period that'll really have you reaching for the sick bag. Throughout, Ted's sickening charm and delusions of self-grandeur are nauseating.
The way he escaped prison, manipulated the law system and generally got away with behaving like a real-life Joker for years is terrifying. These Tapes take viewers through Bundy's murders, his arrests, his trial and (eventually) his death row fate.
