On Christmas Eve 2010, Peep Show released the fifth episode of Season 7, titled Seasonal Beatings. With nine seasons and 54 episodes, Peep Show's point-of-view approach to comedy has seen the series go down in TV history as one of the funniest and most original British sitcoms of all time. Although there are countless hilarious episodes, Seasonal Beatings is by far the most quotable Christmas special on this list. Well, certainly in my house.

The plot: Mark is dreading Christmas lunch, as he has offered to host his snobby parents in his flat for the first time ever. To make matters worse, Jeremy is in a whimsical mood and Dobby and Super Hans turn up as unexpected guests.

Why it's awesome: Angry Mark is the best Mark, and there isn't a better outburst in all of the nine seasons of Peep Show than Mark's reaction when Jeremy makes a joke about not getting a turkey. Then there's the great cauliflower debate where Mark and his dad have a heated argument as to whether or not cauliflower is or isn't traditional in a Christmas dinner. Then there's Jeremy's Christmas tree. Oh Jeremy, you tried so hard...
