10 Best TV Show Reunions Done During The Pandemic

1. Community - The Trifecta Of Reunions

Of course, not to be outdone, Community did more than just a virtual reunion, or a virtual table read, OR a podcast reunion. No, Community did all three! This trifecta of reunions happened in the spring, and it was perfect timing as the show was experiencing a renaissance of sorts seeing as it had been added to Netflix earlier that year.

The triathlon of reunions began with a table read of the iconic season 5 episode Cooperative Polygraphy, which seemed perfect for the cast they managed to wrangle for the call - by that I mean a good episode that featured Donald Glover but also did not feature Chevy Chase. And as it had to be good, any episode from the forth season was out. The highlight from the read-through came when Pedro Pascal, star of The Mandalorian, read for the first time the scene in which his character bequeathed the gang vials of Pierce's sperm and promptly lost his mind laughing.

After that came a Q&A session where the cast reminisced about their favourite moments and the possibility of #6SeasonsAndAMovie. It was clear the cast still stayed in touch after the end of the show, as most of the conversations contained inside jokes that didn't really make sense.

AND THEN if that wasn't enough for the fanbase, the cast then hopped on to The Darkest Timeline podcast hosted by Community's very own Ken Jeong and Joel McHale - which was essentially just a more chaotic version of the official Q&A.

It truly was the best reunion and was the joy we all needed in these trying times.
