Since How I Met Your Mother went off the air last year, there's been a huge gaping hole in romantic comedy programming for television. A to Z may not be perfect, but it's a more than acceptable way to fill that void. A huge part of its appeal comes from its likable and plucky costars, Ben Feldman (you may know him as Ginsberg on Mad Men, and yes, that whole story line about him going crazy because of the computers and cutting off his nipple was so that he could get off the show and star in this instead) and Cristin Milioti (the eponymous and ultimately ill-fated mother of HIMYM). A to Z details the relationship that develops between Andrew, an employee at an internet dating site, and Zelda, a straight-laced lawyer. When you hear just the one sentence plot synopsis, even we have to admit that it sort of sounds generic and lame, but there's a certain sense of charm that prevents A to Z from becoming just another gimmicky television rom com.
