10 Best Young Justice Episodes

6. Welcome To Happy Harbor - Season 1, Episode 3

Young Justice The Team
Warner Bros.

Veteran DC animation director Jay Oliva - who has helmed such features as Batman Bad Blood and The Flashpoint Paradox - marshalled one of The Team's first adventures excellently in this episode, which helps establish some of the most beloved dynamics between its respective members.

“Welcome to Happy Harbor” perfectly defines the individual personalities of the Young Justice members loud and clear. It seeds so many arcs, including Robin trying to prove his place as Batman's would-be successor, Miss Martian’s developing telepathy, and Superboy’s impostor syndrome, with Superman developing into something of an absent figure.

This was the point when audiences new this show brought something truly different to the table, and even though the series had only really just begun, this was the episode that illustrated Young Justice wasn't just your average animated series.
