10 Better Call Saul Moments That Broke TV
7. Chuck's Monologue
He'll never change! He'll never change!
Who could forget the chilling monologue of Jimmy's brother Chuck? The scene in the courtroom felt like the perfect conclusion to the rivalry of Jimmy and Chuck McGill. After all of Jimmy's careful planning to undermine his brother's success as a lawyer, to see Chuck finally cave in and show his true colors was just as satisfying as it was heartwrenching.
In the aptly titled episode "Chicanery", Jimmy is taken to court over his various malpractices as a lawyer. Naturally, his brother Chuck, who always saw Jimmy as a good-for-nothing conman, wants to use this opportunity to expose his brother and put him in his place, once and for all. What he doesn't know, however, is that Jimmy has also been preparing a way to expose Chuck's true nature. Jimmy instructs his bodyguard, Huell, to slip a battery inside of Chuck's pocket so that when Jimmy brings up Chuck's condition, which causes him to suffer from exposure to electricity, he can prove that his brother has made it up and he is, in fact, a mentally unstable control freak. The con succeeds, and it succeeds a little too well...
Chuck goes off in the courtroom in what has to be one of the most memorable monologues on TV. After all, how many of them include a line about the character's brother defecating through a sunroof?
