10 Better Call Saul Moments That Broke TV
6. Desert Shootout
Bagman is perhaps the most intense and insane episode of the show The entire sequence of Jimmy and Mike trekking through the desert in order to find Lalo's bailout money had everything you'd want to see on TV and more!
The premise of the episode is already pretty crazy on its own. Jimmy manages to save his new cartel client, Lalo Salamanca, from serving a life sentence, but the price of his freedom is seven million dollars. Lalo doesn't appear phased as he has the right amount of money ready. The only catch is that it's hidden somewhere in the Alberquerque desert, and Jimmy has to go find it...
The episode had plenty of memorable and adrenaline-pumping scenes. The shootout with the gangsters, where Mike took everyone out one by one, was so intense that we feared for Jimmy's life, even though we knew he was going to survive! Another scene where Mike takes aim at the speeding driver as he's just about to crash into Jimmy ends with the most nerve-racking yet satisfying car crash seen on TV. It's really easy for the audience to put themselves in Jimmy's shoes in that moment and feel the same anxiety and then relief as the wreck comes flying behind his back.
And as if all of that high-octane action was not enough, the episode blessed us with the first scene in TV series history where a grown man drinks his own urine from a travel mug!
