2. Who's Going To Break?

Coulson talks about "sacrifices" and things being "make or break" in the teaser, and several of the shots included from last season show characters in peril or despair, not to mention the penultimate shot of a car having a rather catastrophic accident. It seems hardly surprising that Marvel would want us to worry that characters might die, but after the events of last season it seems like a very real threat. Fitz is, as far as we know, still on life support after almost drowning with Simmons, his brain damaged to an extent we don't yet know. Speaking of Simmons: where is she? We do actually see a clip of them in a lab, but the costumes and set look familiar so that could likely be old footage as they don't seem to appear anywhere else in the video. Another point is that Coulson could very well be referring to himself when he says, "This is a make or break moment." He's been through more hardships than anyone, and having the added pressure of restoring SHIELD to an honourable and effective place might just end up being too much for him. We're optimistic he'll muddle through, though.
