7. Will Victoria Hand Be Making A Return To The Series?

We hear Coulson's narration say, "We have to fight on for those we've lost," as a close-up shot of a bloody hand and pink/black hair against mesh flooring. They clearly belong to Victoria Hand, a high-level SHIELD agent who was brutally killed by Grant Ward late on in the first season. Could Hand be returning to our screens? While the way she was killed seemed pretty definitive and implied that Hand had nothing to do with Hydra, the show has resurrected characters from some pretty bad states (case in point: Coulson) and turned others we thought were good (case in point: Ward). Plus, the shot of her hair and hand looks like new footage. If Hand was in cahoots with Hydra then maybe we'll be treated to a flashback showing how she avoided death, possibly in an elaborate ruse to take any suspicion away from her in the event that the terrorist organisation's takeover of SHIELD wasn't completely successful and they needed a backup leader. It wouldn't be the first time someone's suggested that Hand's a double agent, either...
