10 Big Questions We're Asking After Daredevil Season 2

2. When Will We See The Punisher Again?

Arguably the standout performance of Season 2 of Daredevil was Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, aka The Punisher. The turn put in by Bernthal was a masterful one, with his Castle the epitome of a tortured badass in a depiction of the character that felt cinematic in its delivery and its presentation. The way that the show was shot played beautifully into what The Punisher is all about: carnage, chaos, and destruction. Whether he€™s right in what he does or why he does what he does, that€™s a whole other topic, but the way that the character was utilized here was pitch-perfect. So, where does Castle go from here? Given that Marvel€™s Netflix shows exist in the greater Marvel Cinematic Universe, could we see an appearance on the big screen alongside a Captain America, an Iron Man, or maybe even a Spider-Man? Could those rumours of a Punisher-centric Netflix series come to fruition? The latter seems the safest best at this stage, but Bernthal has done enough to convince that he'll be great in whatever role Frank Castle is used in next. Whatever happens, viewers have been left wanting to see more of Frank. It just remains to be seen when and where that will be.
