10 Biggest Plot Holes In Buffy The Vampire Slayer

1. Nobody Ever Goes To The Library

Throughout the high school years, Buffy and the gang use the library as their central meeting place. They plan, research, argue, and train here for three solid years.

Though the library is open to all students and staff members at Sunnydale High, the Scooby Gang are rarely disturbed – their secret meetings are allowed to go ahead without any interruption.

In fairness, the writers do acknowledge this issue. At the start of ‘Passion’, Jonathan comes into the library and asks for some books on Stalin, the infamous dictator of the Soviet Union. The gang are shocked by this simple request, which is a clear nod to the fact the library is never visited by other students.

What's more, constant interruptions would have been an annoying inconvenience. And given the library is an iconic part of the show, changing the gang’s meeting place would have been a terrible idea.

Still, even Buffy fanatics can’t deny the absurdity of this plot hole.
