10 Biggest Plot Holes In Buffy The Vampire Slayer

7. Vampire Reflections

Which brings us to yet another vampire-related issue: reflections.

Once again, it’s Angel who establishes this rule. Back in the penultimate episode of Season 1, he shows up in the library, and Giles is quick to notice something: ‘A vampire casts no reflection.’

The trouble is, anyone with a knack for observation will know that vampire reflections appear throughout the show’s run. If you keep an eye out, you can spot these reflections in mirrors, windows, and even pools of water. It’s hard to notice unless you’re looking for it, but it’s there nonetheless.

Just like the breath issue, it would have been easier to not include this rule in the first place. After all, the absence of a reflection never has any effect on the plot.
