10 Biggest Plot Holes In Buffy The Vampire Slayer

6. Buffy’s House Repairs Itself

The Summers’ household is one of the most iconic locations in the show. Most of the time, it’s a sanctuary for Buffy and the gang, a place where our heroes can relax and recuperate.

But Buffy’s home is far from fool proof. In every season, there’s at least one outbreak of violence within its walls. Vampires, robots, zombies, assassins, and a number of other demons all wreak havoc, and they rarely leave the house in a presentable state.

Whenever this happens, the damage they cause seems to evaporate overnight. In ‘Dead Man’s Party’, for example, Buffy’s welcome-home celebration is interrupted by an army of the undead. They smash windows, destroy doors, break ornaments, and upend the furniture. But in the next episode, everything’s fine – there’s no evidence that anything happened at all.

Whilst the show is often ambiguous about how much time has passed between episodes, it would have been more realistic if we saw some repair work going on at some point.
