10 Buffy Actors Who Went On To Great Things

2. David Boreanaz

When Angel came to an end, you had to wonder whether David Boreanaz would be type-cast as his vampire alter-ego forever. After taking the lead in Valentine's Day, a corny horror outing, while still on the show, and appearing in a bad Crow sequel afterwards, it seemed like that might be the case. Then along came Bones, and Boreanaz's role as Special Agent Booth. He has now played the part, to much fanfare, for over ten years, taking the odd project on the side as well. At this point, Boreanaz is better known for Booth than he is for Angel, despite all the love for everything Whedon and Buffy. That's quite the feat!
