It was easy to miss Clea DuVall on Buffy in the first season episode Out of Sight, Out of Mind - after all, she was the girl that turned invisible, complete with Marty McFly-esque special effects. That brief appearance was one of DuVall's first acting credits. Since the 1997 episode, she appeared in the cult horror/sci-fi flick The Faculty, the teen hit Can't Hardly Wait, the acclaimed Girl, Interrupted, and starred in series like HBO's Carnivale, Heroes, American Horror Story, and recently turned up in Better Call Saul. Interestingly, while she has stayed close to her genre roots, she has been one of those rare actors not pigeonholed into the horror/sci-fi realm, and does great work both inside and outside of it.
