10 Cancelled TV Shows That Totally Deserve A Ripper Street Resurrection
7. Freaks And Geeks
Judd Apatows Freaks and Geeks hit our screens in 1999 and introduced the world to the likes of Jason Segel, James Franco and Seth Rogen. The show took a look at the strange worlds that all teenagers have seen in school and how two different groups dealt with the problems they encountered. Running for only 12 episodes the show was a major hit with critics and the younger generation. Its accurate but humorous look at the different cliques in American high schools hit a chord with teenagers and has gone on to become a cult hit through DVD sales. Its brilliance came in the fact that we can all relate in some way to the troubles the characters experience. The fact that its one series spinoff Undeclared was also well received, proving the concept could work even if it wasnt a direct continuation of the show. A reboot or a look at the characters in their more adult life could both provide more comedy gold. Seth Rogen and others have also recently expressed interest in returning to the series so it isnt out of the realms of possibility.
