10 Cancelled TV Shows That Totally Deserve A Ripper Street Resurrection

6. Party Down

This series left us in 2010 after two highly rated series. Despite the praise it never managed to pull in the ratings necessary for it to continue and was cancelled. It followed the adventures of a group of people holding down catering jobs who would rather be doing anything else. Its clever comedy came about during various jobs the company took on, with the crew dealing with a range of hapless and eccentric customers. However the best moments came when the group would just sit, talk and argue about their dreams of becoming star actors or well-regarded writers. It€™s essentially an absurd look at those struggling to fulfil their ambition. When Netflix began showing the two seasons in the US it gathered a much bigger following of people who appreciated the blend of improvisation and slapstick. This demonstrated its potential to be much more successful than when shown on TV. The cast have previously reunited on another show and movie rumours have circulated since 2012, suggesting everyone involved is up for getting back together again.
