This Channel 4 comedy brought together the still relatively unknown Jessica Hynes, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost along with director Edgar Wright. It proved to be something of a hit as viewers got to see the almost fantasy adventures of two people, who hardly know each other, posing as a married couple. Apart from the moments of hilarity you would expect from the people who brought you Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead and At Worlds End it was also touching at times. Watching Tim and Daisy slowly become closer and begin to feel more romantically involved was a perfect contrast to their flights of fancy while trying to pass the time by. There have been mixed comments from both cast and crew about the possibility of a third series, ranging from there being absolutely no chance to the fact that discussions have taken place. Its clear that all involved still remember the series fondly so we guess they might want to revisit their former lives, even if its just one series to tie up the loose ends and give us a proper ending.
