Season 4 episode The Why of Fry introduced a new love interest for Leela in the form of Chaz, the mayor's aide.

While he was a minor character in the grand scheme of things, his few lines of dialogue were truly hilarious, which made him particularly memorable in the minds of fans.

Surprisingly, Chaz is voiced by the ever-brilliant Bob Odenkirk, now better known as Saul Goodman of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul fame. The actor's voice is almost unrecognisable, which caused his performance to fly under the radar with many fans.

Despite winning Leela's affection by flashing his "mayor's aide" badge at restaurants and reserving a skating rink, he ultimately loses her by shouting at a group of orphans to "come back when [they've] got connections", and Chaz is never seen again.

Chaz was brilliantly written and brilliantly voiced by Odenkirk, and it's a shame that we never got to see more of him.

Still, he was probably pretty busy, being the mayor's aide and all. Did he mention that?
