10 Celebs You Didn't Know Appeared In Futurama
3. Mark Hamill As The Chanukah Zombie
As well as his iconic and unforgettable role in the Star Wars franchise, Mark Hamill is well-known as a prolific voice actor.
Having spent many years voicing the Joker in countless Batman projects, Hamill has a remarkable ability to bend his voice to any particular character. As a result, his gruff tones are often unrecognisable behind his latest animated character.
The former Jedi's role in Futurama was almost laughably small for an actor of Hamill's stature.
Hamill voiced the Chanukah Zombie, the embodiment of the Jewish holiday. The character only had one speaking role in the first of Futurama's straight-to-DVD movies, Bender's Big Score, in which most of his lines were a rap about going to war alongside Robot Santa and Kwanzaabot.
Given that he was voicing a zombie, it probably follows that Hamill's voice wasn't easily recognised, but once you've heard it, you'll forever think of the Chanukah Zombie alongside Luke Skywalker and the Joker as Hamill's most memorable roles.
