Dr. Alec Holland, aka Swamp Thing, is a humanoid plant antihero and he could very well make some appearance in Legends of Tomorrow. With John Constantine on the team for this season, it is possible since in the comics the two are part of The Justice League Dark. Holland has been referenced in the Arrowverse before as well. In an episode of Constantine, the voicemail on John's phone said that if someone was looking for Holland, they should try the swamp.

There are a few reasons why Holland would make an exciting character on Legends. One of these is his ability to control and communicate with plants, and another is how he is continuously serious. This would make for great humor when paired with the always upbeat Legends, and because he and John share a history so they could offer a good backstory on each other.

Holland and Constantine often team up as Holland tasks himself to protect The Green, which is the spiritual and elemental force that connects all plant life on Earth. Constantine also protects elemental and spiritual forces like that so their interests will align occasionally. It is possible that Holland could make a one-off appearance because of their history and since the next season is alluding to a more mystic and spiritual feel to it, it is possible that we could see him.
