5. Andrea
Andrea was a divisive character amongst fans due to the fact that she was wildly different than her comic-book counterpart and also because she chose to stay with The Governor in Woodbury over returning to The Prison. But it was this, her headstrong attitude and commitment to seeking peace that made her entertaining to watch.
Andrea was never originally meant to die in the season three finale and supposedly actress Laurie Holden was told she would be required for around eight seasons. It wouldn't be the last time an actor was lied to regarding their character's life span on the show. It's no understatement to say that the show would be radically different if she stuck around.
It's interesting to speculate but it's also possible that keeping Andrea around could've meant that Michonne and Rick would've never ended up together, as in the comics it is actually Rick and Andrea who enter a relationship. However you can't be sure, as Andrea had already diverged from her comic counter-part massively. Even still, it seems unfair rob fans of her reunion with the group after building up to it for an entire season.
