10 Classic TV Shows That Need A Reunion Series

9. The Wonder Years

The Wonder Years was one of those very rare television series that was a show about childhood both kids and adults could relate to. It seems like over the past ten or fifteen years, there's become a much larger divide between children's programming and adult's programming.

You've got Disney and Nickelodeon on one side, and AMC and HBO on the other, but not a lot of what could be referred to as proper family shows. That's where The Wonder Years fit so perfectly, even while the show was tackling serious content.

With this show, you could do another period piece, set right around the time that the show was actually being filmed, centered around Kevin's family in the late 80s or early 90s. Sure, it might not have been the tumultuous period of the late 1960s, but while the adults watching the original series were nostalgic for their childhoods, now the former kids who watched The Wonder Years get to relive their own childhoods with the younger generation.

It's the circle of life, and it moves us all, especially television network executives desperate for the opportunity to reuse an idea that already exists rather than risking it all on something new
