4. Do The Empire Have A Presence On Mandalore?
The biggest clue yet that The Empire are still not quite finished with Mandalore after the Night of a Thousand Tears comes in the form of a few frames showcasing some TIE Interceptors hunting down a Mandalorian Gauntlet starfighter.
And while it isn't 100% confirmed that this is Mandalore the fighters are battling above, you wouldn't put it past the heartless Empire to set up a base on the planet in the wake of pulverising its one-time occupants.
For those assuming that this is actually Mando in the aforementioned pursued Gauntlet as well, it's worth noting that the cut to a close-up of the bounty hunter reveals that he's seemingly still sat inside of his N1 Naboo starfighter.
So it's most likely Bo-Katan Kryze and her Night Owl pals trying to evade the Empire forces that are still present on their home planet in this sequence, with Djarin potentially stopping by to aid the gang as he initially arrives on Mandalore.
