How do you keep the most powerful weapon in existence from falling into the wrong hands? Well if you ask the creator of Soul Eater, the answer is simple: make it so god damn annoying that you'd have to be crazy to want to put up with it.

Excalibur is the most powerful weapon in the universe of Soul Eater. The minute you see it in action, it's clear that every legend the show tells about it are understatements at best. However, the times you DO see it in action are few and far between (the anime only shows it once, for example) because no one in their right mind wants anything to do with it.

See, in the world of Soul Eater, weapons have minds of their own and even humanoid bodies they can assume when not in use. Excalibur is no exception, but the guy is such an arrogant, pompous, holier than thou, condescending person that no one has the tolerance to put up with him, no matter how powerful he is.
