6. Tessaiga (Inuyasha)
While the overall quality of Rumiko Takahashi's shonen soap opera Inuyasha is open for debate, one thing that's undeniable is the fact that Tessaiga is one of the coolest swords in all of anime.
The blade, forged from the tooth of Inuyasha's demonic father, is gigantic - nearly the size of the buster sword - and that isn't even its most impressive trait. Coming straight out of the mouth of an all powerful demon, Tessaiga, of course, has some magical abilities of its own. Most notably the Windscar, where Inuyasha swings his sword so hard that the blast of wind is strong enough to rend boulders to pieces.
Tessaiga is capable of slaying a hundred demons at once, and when Inuyasha unlocks all of its power, simply being touched by the blade can send you on a one way ticket to hell. While its sister sword, Tensaiga, is also very impressive, we just don't see it as often as we do Tessaiga.
Inuyasha is far from perfect, but Tessaiga is a weapon for the ages.
