2. Yoru (One Piece)
You would be hard pressed to write a first appearance as utterly BADASS as when Dracule "Hawkeye" Mihawk first appeared in One Piece. And a lot of that has to do with him pulling out his cross shaped sword, Yoru, and in one swing, cleaving a massive galleon in half.
From then on we only see short bursts of what Mihawk is up to, the show brilliantly making you hope against hope that you'll get to see Yoru in action again. So when Luffy faces off against him during the Marineford arc, and he chops an entire mountain miles away clean in half in one swing, you feel the impact of that move all the more.
Luffy's second in command Zoro has dedicated himself to becoming the world's greatest swordsman, so it's inevitable that him and Mihawk will face off one last time in the near future. After what we've seen of Yoru so far, fans can't wait to see what other devastating tricks that this mighty blade has in store for us.
