7. Seth McFarlane Has A Crush On Alex Borstein But Can Only Act On It In The Family Guy Universe
With Peter, Brian, Stewie, Quagmire, and a host of other characters lusting after her, Lois Griffin is probably the most sought after female character on Family Guy. In a strange case of life influencing art, fans seem to think that Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane has a massive crush on Lois' voice actor, Alex Borstein. However, since Borstein is happily married, MacFarlane can only act upon this crush through the Family Guy universe. This theory is insane, but the even crazier thing is that it sort of makes some sense as all the main characters who are in love or have a crush on Lois are all voiced by MacFarlane. This theory is further reinforced when female characters beyond Lois are explored. Quagmire is shown to be a massive man-whore, but the show dedicated more time to him than usual when he embarks on an affair with Cleveland's first wife and another with reporter Tricia Takanawa. The common thread between Loretta Brown and Takanawa? Borstein also voices those two characters. To be fair to Quagmire, he's trying to nail every woman he meets, but it is hard to look past the fact that most of the major relationships that go on in the show do revolve around MacFarlane's and Borstein's large roster of characters.
My life story is nothing special. I haven't cured ebola, I'm nowhere near stopping terrorism, and I'm still working on that climate change problem.
Instead, all I've done so far is put a few hundred words together in an attempt to make people laugh.
