6. Solar-Powered Zombies

How come walkers are seemingly able to go for weeks – perhaps even months or years considering the scarcity of non-dead humans these days – without a good wholesome meal of fresh human flesh? Could it be that the sun is powering them?

Not only does this theory explain how the walkers somehow find enough energy to stumble around moaning and decaying and generally being a pest without proper nutrition, it also explains why walkers in dark places tend to only wake up once they’re disturbed by humans – they’ve obviously just gone into power saving mode from lack of sunlight.

If this theory is true, then the zombie apocalypse crisis could potentially be solved by coating every walker in super-strength sunblock … maybe. Or perhaps Rick and Co could find a way to harness their solar power to solve the energy crisis, because say what you want about those ugly flesh-munchers – least they’re environmentally friendly.
