8. Jim Is Responsible For Michael Dating Pam's Mother

In season four's "Chair Model," a newly single Michael asks the members of the office to write down the names of women they can set him up with, prompting Jim to jokingly write down Pam's mother, Helene Beesly (Linda Purl).

But while Michael doesn't immediately follow up on this suggestion, he clearly kept Helene in the back of his mind somewhere, as one of the major subplots in season six sees him dating her, as Pam learns to her disgust in "The Lover."

As mad as she was at Michael - and even more so when he dumped Helene after finding out her age - Pam should probably be angrier at Jim for suggesting the pairing in the first place, no matter how flippantly.
