10 DC Characters That Need A TV Show

5. Frankenstein And The Creature Commandos

Getting nice and obscure for this next entry, we have Frankenstein and the Creature Commandos. Now, this is one comic line that anyone who reads it will scratch their heads wondering why it isn't more famous than it is. Mostly on account of it being awesome in every sense.

As the title suggests, this is about Frankenstein's monster, now working for the monster hunting organization S.H.A.D.E, along with his posse of other famous movie monsters, all of whom are dedicated to defending humanity from the things that go bump in the night.

Now, granted, from that title, you can probably see why it isn't more famous. After all, we already have Hellboy, and this is basically green Hellboy, so it's easy to see why it didn't catch on. But that's nothing that a talented showrunner and writing team can't get around, especially seeing as how Hellboy has kinda fallen out of style in live action.

A show starring Frankenstein's monster hunting other monsters and demons would make for an awesome horror action show. With Swamp Thing getting killed right out of the gate and with Constantine never escaping the cancellation hole, this would be a great way to fill that niche.
