10 DC Characters Who Deserve Their Own Show

If ever there was a prime example of movie characters better suited to a TV show, it would be Suicide Squad. They’re basically the A-Team... but with superpowers, so what’s not to love?

There’s not much you’d need to change character-wise from the film approach either. Your opening episode could be Amanda Waller collecting her villains giving the show a chance to heap on some serious exposition to introduce each character. From then on each week would be a different more insane mission while the main villain (The Joker? Amanda Waller?) is slowly revealed.

Maybe the missions could get progressively more crazy and dangerous, a fourth wall breaking riff that leads the characters to discover that the government is actually hoping they die to just get rid of them? Deadpool had plenty of fourth wall breaking and fans loved that so Suicide Squad, which is equally wacky, would have no problem slipping them in.
