Switching gears to a background event that also falls in the "production goofs" category, let's talk about this unusual moment from Series 2's Love & Monsters.

For an episode that so few people have the desire to rewatch, it's no surprise that a detail like this has slipped under the radar for the vast majority of fans.

During the scene where Victor Kennedy introduces himself to LINDA, the lights flick on one-by-one, and - as the camera moves slowly towards him - we can see what appears to be a careless crew member caught in the shot, just nonchalantly stood in the background (on the left-hand side of the image above).

You'd think someone who's qualified enough to work on Doctor Who would know that you shouldn't stand anywhere near the edges of the frame, but apparently not! As if we all needed another reason to poke fun at Love & Monsters...

Danny has been with WhatCulture for almost nine years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
