6. Danny, Mickey & The Brigadier

While male Doctor Who companions have a tendency to appear weak and unappealing in comparison to the Doctor, all three of these chaps have proved their mettle time and time again. Although it's tough to see who would assert himself as the natural leader of this trio, it's easy to picture the Brigadier and Danny bonding over their strict military histories. Mickey, having had the most severe character development over the course of his time on screen, would do well to rub shoulders with both these two military men. Indeed, Mickey's tougher persona would create some surefire on screen tension between Danny and perhaps even the Brigadier, however, if they can quite butting heads for long enough, they could very well have had their own spin off show. Think Torchwood, but with much better organisation!
